Too much breast reduction

Reduction mammoplasty, or breast reduction, is a good cosmetic surgical procedure for a woman experiencing health problems and/or extreme self-consciousness associated with very large, heavy breasts. The goal is to give the woman a more attractive look with smaller, better-shaped breasts in proportion with the rest of her body. She will then benefit from freedom of health problems associated with large breasts and an improved self-image. Medical problems associated with very large breasts include back and neck pain caused from excessive weight, skin irritation, skeletal deformities and breathing problems. Bra straps may leave shoulder indentations. Large, heavy breasts also contribute to poor posture, and can interfere with normal daily activities such as exercise. Excessive breast size may also lead to a decreased sense of attractiveness and self-confidence. Breast reduction is done under general anesthesia on an outpatient basis or in the hospital. The surgery removes fat, glandular tissue, and skin from the breasts, making them smaller, lighter, and firmer. It can also reduce the size of the areola, the darker skin surrounding the nipple. After the surgery, the breasts are placed in a surgical bra that will hold them symmetrically during initial healing. The initial discomfort subsides daily and can be controlled with painkillers. Scars will fade in 6-18 months. When performed by a qualified plastic surgeon, breast reduction is a safe procedure. Nevertheless, as with any surgery, there is always a possibility of complications. Discuss this with a doctor before making your decision. If you do have this surgery, you can reduce your risks of side effects by closely following your physician's advice both before and after surgery. Although your surgeon will make your scars as inconspicuous as possible, some permanent scarring is inevitable. Smokers are more likely to experience poor healing and wider scars. The good news is, your bra or bathing suit will cover whatever scars remain, and most likely, the scars will not prevent you from wearing low-cut tops. After recovery, life will go on as before.

Use a make up brush to apply your cosmetics

There are a lot of people who nowadays are applying cosmetics using their fingers, in my opinion it looks a lot better if applied using a make-up brush. This article describes the reasons for this and looks at the types of make-up brush which are available. Blending A smooth finish is what is required if you really want to look your best. Using your fingers and the fingertips makes it very difficult to get this smooth finish, where as if you use a good quality shaped make-up brush you can. There are of course various oils in your fingers which can easily transfer to your face to make it look blotchy. This oil can also transfer itself to the make-up itself which can make it difficult to use in the future. I often see people out and about in pubs and clubs and can tell straight away whether they have used a brush or if they have just simply used their fingers. I know which person I find more attractive. Control It is far easier to control the amount of powder or other make-up you are using when you apply it with a make-up brush. If you use your finger tips it is very easy to use too much and your face can become plastered. This can look really horrible and is a huge turn off. I would be thinking, what are you trying to hide beneath all of that make up? It also shows a lack of self-esteem and confidence on the part of the wearer. This of course was not meant to happen and could have been avoided by using by a brush. Which type of brush? Most people believe that long handled brushes are by far the best for applying make-up, this is mainly due to balance. When looking to purchase these brushes you normally get what you pay for. I would certainly advise where possible to avoid the lower end of the market. When you look good, you feel good. It is a bit like wearing a new suit which you have spent a lot of money on. When you wear it for the first time to work or to a wedding, it gives you a bit of extra confidence as you know you are looking very smart. Good quality brushes should if used correctly last quite a long time, they need to be correctly maintained and cleaned however to keep to their maximum effect. Types of make-up brushes These are the common types of make-up brush: Blusher brush Eyeliner brush Eyelash comb Eyeshadow brush Eyebrow brush Powder brush Lip liner brush If you do not want to or can not afford to buy make-up brushes, and are still planning to apply your cosmetics using your fingers, you need to ensure: That you always wash your hands first That you do not use too much make-up You do not rush when applying the make-up I hope this article helps you too look even more beautiful!

How to buy perfume that right for you

: How To Buy Perfume That Right For You Buying Perfume can be a very hard decision, especially when you buying that perfume for your friend or lover. Different people will have different choice of perfume. Also each fragrance will produce a different scent on various types of skin. Therefore, when buying perfume we need to do some good research and try it out before you make the final decision. There are hundreds brands of perfume and thousands of scents available in the market nowadays. If you never bought any perfume before and not sure which perfume will be right for you or your friend, you should check out the Perfume Review website online like boisdejasmin. typepad/ or ask your friend to see which perfume is popular that most people use it. After that, you can go out to department store to try it on your skin. Trial and testing Perfume There are 2 ways that you can try perfume either direct on your skin or spray on the fragrance blotters. Now there is both advantage and disadvantage about these two methods of testing if you only using one method. By testing on your skin, you will be able to know exactly how does it smell on your skin, but you can’t try out too many different types of perfume simply because all the perfume that you try after the first one will mix with the first one and you won’t get the correct smell of those fragrance. By testing on the fragrance blotters, you can spray on different cards and write the name of that fragrance at the back of those cards. But this method of testing won’t give you exactly how it smells on your skin either. The best way is to try on the fragrance blotters first, then choose the smell that you like and try it on your skin, that way you can get the fragrance you like and the right perfume for your skin. Types of Perfume There are 4 main different types of perfume. Eau De Cologne, Eau De Toilette, Eau De Parfum and Parfum. They are ranging from the least concentrate to the most concentrate and therefore the different in price. Eau de Cologne (EDC) is the term used today to refer to a perfume solution with around a 3% compound in an oil and water base. It’s the lightest of perfumes and, therefore the least expensive. Eau de Toilette (EDT) - is a perfume solution with a 3-8% compound in an oil and water base. It is a bit more expensive. Eau de Parfum (EDP) is a perfume solution with a 10-15% compound. Parfum is the highest concentration of oils, with 20-50% compound, which makes it last longer than others and the most expensive. Size of Perfume Perfume is packed in different sizes. In Europe and USA, perfume usually measures by Oz, in Australia or other countries we measure by ml. 1Oz is equivalent to 30ml (1Oz ~30ml). The most common size usually is 50ml, 75ml or 100ml. If you are buying the fragrance for the first time, you should buy the small bottle to try it out first. If you already wear that fragrance before and you really like it, then go ahead and purchase the big bottle because they are usually best value for money. There is some small sample called vial on card or vial mini as well, those bottles are usually for trial. It is a good idea for you to buy those trial first to test it out before go ahead to buy a big bottle. Where to buy Discount Perfume Now you already know which brand, type and size of the perfume you like and best fit for you. It is time to shop around for the best price available. Nowadays, Perfume Online Stores usually sell perfume at a better price than most of department stores or retail outlet, as they don’t have to employ a lot of staff and pay the big rent in the shopping center. Perfume Online Stores also can carry a lot more varieties of brands as well as keep some hard to find perfume. Lasik eye surgery are you ready

Is Lasik in your future? Millions of Americans turn to Lasik Surgery when their vision is less than perfect and they’re tired of being tied down to wearing glasses or contacts. What part of the eye is it that may be causing all your vision trouble? Your cornea! When the shape of your cornea is irregular, the image on your retina is blurry and out-of-focus. The cornea is a part of your eye that works to focus light and projects an image on the retina. This focusing of light is called refraction. The 3 main types of refractive errors are myopia (nearsightedness), hyperopia (farsightedness) and astigmatism. If you are nearsighted, you have trouble seeing distant objects. If you are farsighted, you have trouble seeing things close up. Astigmatism is caused by irregularities in the surface of the cornea or lens and causes the image on the retina to be distorted. It’s not uncommon for a person to have a combination of all 3 refractive errors, myopia, hyperopia and astigmatism. Before Lasik Surgery, glasses and contact lenses were the main ways to compensate for your eye's imperfections. What exactly is Lasik? Lasik stands for Laser-Assisted In Situ Keratomileusis. Keratomileusis is the carving of the cornea in order to reshape it. As the laser reshapes the cornea, it changes the angle at which you see images and therefore strengthens your vision significantly. This reshaping adjusts and strengthens the power of your cornea to focus on objects near and far. If you are nearsighted, your doctor uses the laser to flatten your cornea that is too-steep. If you are farsighted, your doctor uses the laser to make your cornea steeper because it is too flat. For astigmatism, the laser can be used to smooth an irregular cornea into a more smooth shape. There are few other procedures like Lasik Eye Surgery that can give you these amazing results and permanently change the shape of your cornea in just minutes. OK, I’m convinced, now what? Start by talking to family, friends and co-workers. Who do you know that has had Lasik Surgery? Did they have a good outcome? How long were they out of work? How much did they pay? Did they have to pay the total price prior to the surgery? Would they recommend their surgeon to you? Then armed with this information, begin researching what surgeon you would like to schedule an initial consultation with. Ask lots of questions and keep a notebook of all the details that you learn. You’ve taken your first step toward better vision with Lasik Surgery!

Breast enlargement what you absolutely must consider when selecting a surgeon

Breast augmentation is a surgery designed to enlarge the breasts. Women, who are unhappy with the small size of their breasts, sometimes after pregnancy or weight loss, frequently seek this breast enlargement surgery. If you're considering breast augmentation with breast implants, the following information will provide you with a good introduction to the procedure. For more detailed information about how this procedure may help you, we recommend that you consult a plastic surgeon who is board certified or has completed a residency program that includes instruction in this procedure. Types of implants A breast implant is a silicone shell filled with either silicone gel or a salt-water solution known as saline. Because of concerns that there is insufficient information demonstrating the safety of silicone gel-filled breast implants, the Food & Drug Administration (FDA) has determined that new gel-filled implants, at the present time, should be available only to women participating in approved studies. Some women requiring replacement of the implants may also be eligible to participate in the study. Saline-filled implants continue to be available to breast augmentation patients on an unrestricted basis, pending further FDA review. You should ask your doctor more about the specifics of the FDA decisions. The type of incision can also categorize these implants. 1) In the breast fold: This hides the scar well should it thicken. It provides the easiest and safest approach for the surgeon and is the one most commonly used. An excellent surgeon should be able to do the surgery through an incision measuring exactly one inch. 2) Around the nipple: This is often a very thin scar; if not, it will be very visible. The biggest risk of employing this incision is loss of sensation in the nipple that can occur up to 50% of the time. 3) In the axilla: This is a popular means of access when the implant is put under the muscle, but it can also be used for over the muscle. One of the implications of a scar in this area is that if it thickens, raising your arm on the beach or in a low cut gown will be a dead giveaway that you have implants. This incision also makes proper placement of the implant very difficult. Unfortunately, it is not uncommon to see patients with implants that were placed too high on the chest because of this approach. 4) Through the navel: The surgery is performed through a long tube called an endoscope. While the scar may be imperceptible, it is nearly impossible to dissect a large enough pocket for placement of the implant in this manner. Therefore, the method used is creation of the space by blowing a dissecting balloon that tears open the area. This does not create a large enough pocket for the implant, so that its outline can be seen, producing a very unaesthetic appearance. If bleeding should occur, stopping it can be very difficult. Furthermore, because the implant can be abraded and weakened when pushed through the endoscope, the implant manufacturers will not guarantee their products in the event of leakage. After the operation Your breasts will be wrapped with gauze bandage as well as a tighter bandage for protection and support after breast augmentation surgery. You also may have drainage tubes coming out of the incision for several days, to help drain some of the excess fluid. It is important to take the medication prescribed to you by your doctor. Someone will need to drive you home, and you may need assistance at home over the next couple of days. Implant duration Breast augmentation makes the breasts larger for the life of the implant. Remember, also that larger breasts sag faster than smaller breasts, and augmented breasts do this as well. It is possible that you may require surgery in later years to correct sagging if you choose to have large implants. Gravity unfortunately has no exceptions.

Bracelets incredibly diverse

Unlike some other kinds of jewellery, bracelets are incredibly diverse. You can make a bracelet from almost any material you can think of, whether it’s metal, fabric, leather, glass, wire or plastic, or natural materials like shells and stones. Bracelets are both cheap to buy and easy to make, so it’s easy to personalise them to your taste and give them as gifts to your friends. Many people cherish bracelets that they have been given, especially little girls, who will collect friendship bracelets to represent each one of their friends. If you want to make a bracelet yourself, the easiest way to do it is probably to get some beads and a piece of string. Threads woven together can also work well, as can shells if you make tiny holes in them to thread a string through. The best thing to do is to keep the bracelet as a flat string, and then tie it around the hand of the person you’re giving it to so that it fits well. Another interesting use of bracelets, only invented quite recently, is the charity bracelet. These are usually made from silicone, and bear a slogan such as ‘make poverty history’ or ‘help the aged’. The idea is that if you see someone wearing one, you are likely to mention it, and then they will tell you a little about the cause and why it matters to them – a good way of getting people to talk about charities they care about. In some parts of the world, bracelets have special meanings. In India, for example, they are often made from glass, and make a musical-sounding noise when the arm is moved. In Latin America, it is believed that bracelets made from gold and coral can scare away evil spirits, protecting the wearer from the jealousy of others.

Your eyes have it

Your eyes demand attention whenever you are talking to someone or even glancing in their direction. They are an important feature of your face and the skin around the eyes can bring the eyes to healthy life or contribute to a dull, lifeless look. Naturally as you age the skin surrounding the eyes develops fine lines and deeper wrinkles. This is because the delicate skin around the eyes is very different to the rest of the skin on your face. It is much thinner and in fact has very few oil glands which can keep it naturally moisturized. This means its dries out faster and being thin, if not treated gently can stretch and tear, causing bags and sagging. For this reason is it important to treat the eye area gently and don’t wipe or rub the eyes harshly, instead just patting the area without pulling is recommended. Puffiness around the eyes is common on waking but can remain throughout the day for a variety of reasons including tiredness, smoking, drinking alcohol, diet and even hormonal changes. If you do have a problem with puffy eyes try elevating your head slightly at night on a higher pillow and drinking plenty of water throughout the day to cleanse out your blood system. One cause of puffiness can be as simple as the cream you are using. Eyes are naturally sensitive and will water continuously to cleanse them of impurities. When using creams around the eye area make sure you don’t apply them too closely to the eye and seek out natural skin care creams without harsh chemicals and additives. The cream will ‘creep about 1 centimeter by itself so just apply creams on the bone below the eye area. The cream will make its way further on the skin but not into the eyes themselves. When applying eye cream place a little of the cream onto your ring finger and gently pat the cream around the eye and dab gently to absorb, do not rub. You only need to apply a tiny amount of cream around the eye to bring satisfactory results in fact too much cream can irritate and cause the puffiness you are trying to avoid. At LanaB we have developed a 100% natural eye cream that can be used safely around the eye area without causing irritation. Included in the ingredients are Jojoba and Avocado oils as well as Vitamins A and E, these combine to treat fine lines and wrinkles effectively and moisturize and balance the skin around the eyes.
